WA:Coroner: safety switch could've saved boy
PERTH, Feb 28 AAP - The West Australian coroner says the electrocution of a two-year-old
boy in a government-owned house could have been avoided if a safety switch had been fitted.
Cassius Lenny Jack Norman was electrocuted in Roebourne, in WA's Pilbara region, on
September 5, 2009.
The toddler was at a birthday party and playing a game of hide and seek when he climbed
through a hole in a wall and touched a wet extension cord.
An inquest was told that electrical contractors had falsely signed a notice saying
