Divvying up next year's school budget pie is no easy task, as school boards face spreading less state aid among more students.
During a school budget workshop last week, the Bethlehem Board of Education heard complaints from parents whose children are on both ends of the student age spectrum.
On one side were parents from Elsmere Elementary School, from which the board is considering removing one of the 15 teaching positions and adding it to another school where student population is expected to increase.
