VILLAGERS claim they will have to cross a busy road to tend their gardens, if an appeal to build 23 houses in Stone is successful.
Planning applications to build on a former paddock behind three bungalows on Oxford Road have been turned down by Aylesbury Vale District Council development control committee and the applicant Henry Homes has submitted an appeal to the decision.
But residents say if it is successful, as well as the houses spoiling their back garden views of the Buckinghamshire countryside, the access road to the estate will 'cut straight through' their driveway, leaving them to dodge the traffic if they want to use their gardens.
